During 2008-2012 US Housing Crisis, UA started to invest in multifamily properties as we note the rents were more resilient and outperformed the other major property sectors. Since then, UA own apartment buildings with units from 70 to 600. We employ our own maintenance team, pool service staff, cleaners and lawn service. Per project needs, we formed a construction team to fix and flip the apartment properties, and later onto delivery of commercial projects for our clients.
In 2017, after Hurricane Harvey made a devastating landfall in Texas, UA joined the City of Houston Disaster Recovery by providing water removal, demolition and reconstruction. With the experiences gained from Harvey recovery projects, we understand the importance to develop a proactive preparedness plan to limit any threats to life, provide care for residents or guests, outline and document critical response steps and protect business systems.
Our construction division has excelled in combining its General Contracting experience with its development experience.
